Having a real fast business trip to another country is something that can be really exhausting but also amazing! And last week I was really lucky to visit Bratislava in Slovakia!
Bratislava is in southwestern Slovakia, occupying both banks of the River Danube and the left bank of the River Morava. Bordering Austria and Hungary, it is the only national capital that borders two independent countries, that’s why the easiest way to get there is with a flight to Vienna airport and then take a bus or a taxi (almost 40min away).
Bratislava is the capital city of Slovakia and it is a city that comprises beautifully the old with the new… the historical with the modern! My hotel was not that near to the center, it was located to the modern side of the town, but it was really easy to get to the center, after almost 30min on foot. And the historical center was gorgeous! It was like walking in a castle, with beautiful small alleys and wonderful statues and buildings! The local shops were so beautiful like from a fairytale!
while there were so beautiful art “details” in every corner. Amazing statues were just next to you and to be honest during the night it was not that easy to understand if they were real human or not…
And when the night came and the lights were on, it was more magical! the colors were amazing, the buildings were like from a fairytale and it was just the perfect time to relax and to “listen” city’s voice. It was just the perfect time to have a delicious cheececake… but I will tell you in another post!
This city was the most “quite” city I have ever visited so far… it was the perfect place to relax, to calm down and to enjoy every single detail! An amazing place to visit…
Untill next time then….
