It was the fastest party I have ever organized. Oh yes, and all of this because we were sick and I didn’t want to schedule something that might need to cancel. So, I left the time goes by and on last Wednesday I have decided that we can have a party! A Minion birthday party for my prince!
A few kids have been invited, only friends from pre-school and somehow I had to create something cute and beautiful…I am talking about the decoration. I didn’t have much days to spend for crafting and preparing garlands or pom pom or whatever, so the solution was only one… Happy Teapot my friends! A huge balloon with Number 3, small blue and white ballons and cupcake cases were enought to make the party unique! A few paper scraps in blue and yellow and of course our beloved minin minaitures were enought to make a cute decoration that was loved from the kids!
Pinterest helped me also a lot, since there were do many free printables about Minion party, that I got confused. Finally our party favor for our little guests were like minion again, with minion glasses and plates, while a portrait of my Minion boy was also the perfect detail in the decor! I loved it so much, that actually is part of our nursery decor!
And now the menu… difficult to decide! Carrot cake with lemon icing for start with coffee and juice and then handmade pop corn and candies and fruits… bananas actually! Since I didn’t have that much time, the food was actually finger food. So chicken nuggets, meat balls (recipe from Food for Thought) , cheece pie , pasta salad, pizza and sadwiches with cheece cream and pork!
It was the most simple party I have ever organized, but again the kids had great time and they enjoyed everything so much! I think that sometimes we are more anxious than then for decoration and food and all of these details. The only thing that matters is to have your friends on your birthday!
