I have two things to confess! Firstly I am on diet and I am eating lately so much greek yogurt (yummy I have to say!). And secondly, I adore Spring and I always try to have flowers on my home. Now you will ask… so what? Well if you eat so much yogurt and you have so many empty jars, you can easily turn them out to amazing cute vases for your flowers!
Materials for Fabric Covered Jar Vases:
– Empty Jars
– Pom Pom
– Hot Glue
– Scissor for fabrics ( I have used a zig zag scissor)
Crafting should not be difficult always. We can easily create things from old materials or materials that we just love to have by using only our imagination and…glue! And these vases are the perfect example. Easy to craft them, easy to experiment with colors and patterns and so easy to adore them! I have started working on one of them and finally I have done three already and I am planning to have more!
The only thing you need is good mood and fabrics and ribbons! So, choose your favorite fabric and measure the length and the width you wish to have in order to cover the jar (all or part of it). Cut it with a scissor and if you wish to have a beautiful detail, just use a zig zag scissor. Use hot glue and glue it on the jar.
Let’s now make it more cute. Use a ribbon (or more) and a pom pom (or beads, dried flowers, buttons…etc) and add them on the jar again with hot glue. The vase is ready!!!! Why I have used hot glue and not white glue??? Because it is easier to remove the fabric from the jar if you change your mind and you wish to use it in a different way!
Two tiny vases are already full of flowers and the third one has aroma for home. If you wish to make it also, it is really easy. Just follow the instructions that my friend Dimitra from DecorAsylum has for you.
Ok , small vases are ready…what else can I prepare for making my home full od Spring??? Let’s see….
So, do you have any jars to transform them to vases????
Happy Crafting my friends!!!
