I do not know about you, but for us, our home is full of candles after the Easter has gone… and chocolates! This year I have decided to try another craft, that so far I was avoiding (don’t ask me why, there is no answer) and to be honest, I really liked it! So grab all of your Easter candles or any candle scrap you have and join me to reuse them and create our own amazing aromatic candles!
Materials for Upcucled Candles in a Glass:
– Easter Candles (and candle scpars if you have)
– Essential Oil (I have used this one)
– Hot Glue
– Wooden Sticks
When I decided to make this project it was late at night, so it was not possible to visit a related shop to candles to buy new wicks. But this “issue” did not stop me at all. Just be carefull and cut the Easter candles in pieces without damaging the wicks. You can easily reuse them!
To make the new candles all I do is:
In case you wax is not enough to feel up the glass, no worries. You can allow your candle to harden and repeat the same procedure when you have more candle scraps available!
Since our candles are ready now let’s decorate them! Hot glue, pom pom, lace ribbons (that I got from here), beads, dried flowers and let’s start!
My candles have an amazing aroma and because of these cute colored glasses, they are great during the night! A trully romantic atmosphere!
So, do you have Easter candle to melt????
