Diy Funky Summer Hat with Pom Pom! Decorate your summer hat with adorable pom pom and ribbons and add color in your beach style!
I remember myself when I was still in school, that as a teenanger I was loving to wear hats! So if anyone of my family friends were traveling to a big city, I was kindly asking them to bring me a hat! My small collection had around ten hats! The only problem was, that I wan not allowed to wear in at school…do not ask me why, still I cannot answer that question…school’s rules! Even now, I still adore hats and Summer is just the perfect season to wear and enjoy them! And you know what is the best thing? That you can make your own hat in your beloved style and still you will be trendy and in fashion! Ribbons and cute pom poms and let’s upcycle our old fashioned hat to a new Funky one!
Materials for your new Funky Summer hat:
– Hat ( I actually used a beautiful straw hat I found in Tiger Stores)
– Ribbons
– Iron Stamp for Cloths (again from Tiger Stores)
– Scissor
– Hot Glue
The procedure is really easy. The only thing you need is imagination and 5 minutes of your time! This hat was prepared for my little princess, so as you can imagine the ribbons and the cute tiger stamp were according to her taste (the funny thing is, that actually these materials are also according to me taste…. ). First remove everything from your hat, like the black ribbon I had in mine.
Choose your ribbons and start decorating your hat. Add hot glue and put them on the hat. We have used two different ribbons, one fabric plaid ribbon in bright green and of course a hot pink pom pom ribbon. The hat is almost ready, but we both wanted a beautiful detail to make it more funky and more… girly!
An Iron Stamp for Cloths (like the one I have used in my Fabric Necklace) with a beautiful Pink and Blue tiger, solved our problem! Hot glue again and decorate your stamp on the hat! And now we are ready!
I have to say that I really enjoyed this craft and the hat is really cute. Unfortunately my princess was not in the mood to be my model, so I do not have a photo wearing it! hahaha But one thing that I definately know, is that I also found a cute Giraffe iron stamp from the same store and now I am preparing my own hat!

Πόσα ψάθινα καπέλα έχω που λίγο πολύ όλα μοιάζουν μεταξύ τους! Υπέροχη ιδέα για άλλη μια φορά Ζίνα μου… απλά θα το προσαρμόσω στα "δικά μου μέτρα" βλ. ηλικία χαχαχχαχαχ!

Τι κρίμα να μην έχουμε γενικότερα την νοοτροπία του καπέλου σαν λαός (βλ. Αγγλία)! Αν και δεν είναι και ό,τι καλύτερο για τα μαλλιά, χαρίζουν πολύ σε μία εμφάνιση! Γεια στα χέρια σου, βγήκε πολύ …"μούρικο"!!!!
Αναγκαστικά την αποκτάμε τους Καλοκαιρινούς μήνες. αλλά όντως θα ήταν πολύ πολύ όμορφο αν την είχαμε στην καθημερηνότητα μας!
