Sometimes I wonder… I am not for this age… no really, I am a lady from the past! Because even thought I really enjoy bold colors and minimalism, my greatest love is shabby chic and vintage and everything related to the past! Imagine my enthusisam when I discovered the amazing handmade paper creations from Neanikon! Exactly what I wanted… a small vintage detail full of memories in my bag, to accompany me all the time! And what is the most amazing of all? That these creations are made with a 100 year old printing press! Aris a really talented guy, managed to “travel” me to the previous century, with his amazing creations and I really enjoyed it! Today I am honeored to share with you these creations and of course to introduce you Aris from Neanikon!

Although I think I have always been a DIY freak, I believe it all started from my decision to focus my diet natural and raw foods. Through continuous experiments I have found that with naturals and raw materials we can really enjoy from delicious dishes to impressive desserts!
At some point I wanted to share my knowledge about nutrition through a food blog, so I created Neanikon. The name of the blog was inspired by the old Athenian confectioneries and the content I thought would be more interesting if it only concerns sweets recipes.
With a lot of effort and sometimes with a bit of disappointment I was consuming (and still consume) all my free time to design the recipe, to cook the dessert, to shoot it and finally to present it through a post. However every time I received a positive comment from a reader I felt more eager to keep trying.
After a year of running the blog I realized that in the same way I create sweets, I can work productively in other areas as well.
My love for paper has revived and crafting has returned to my life. In Monastiraki flea market, I discovered several vintage tools, including a 100-year-old printing press.
I started making paper goods such as notebooks, notepads, greeting cards and ornaments. The joy of creation is really amazing!
Today I sell my handmade products through jamjar as well as in selected stores. At the same time I continue to suggest recipes through the blog, creating a world that combines a bit of everything, but all under the same aesthetics and culture. Soon I will experiment with other materials, such as fabrics producing new products. My dreams of the Neanikon never end!

Yes I know… I forgoten to tell you that Aris is a great food blogger also, with the most amazing food photography you have ever seen and so yummy tastes! But today I wanted to share with you his creations (you know… I am DIY lover) , my Handmade Love! yea… I know… I am not that honest with you… because with my beloved notebooks and the triangle garland, I have received also a Delicious 4 layer Chocolate Cake!!! So…who wants a piece??? Hands Up and Yell… Tooosoooo!
