I always was in love with the messages in small bottles. I do not know why, maybe because I was loving the fairytales and the stories with pirates! In general I consider bottles a beautiful material for diy and for decorative crafts or keep small treasures inside and have them with you all the time…so… DIY romantic necklace with glitter in a bottle!
Materials for Jewelry making Glitter Bottle Long Necklace:
- Small bottles for jewelry
- cord or chain
- scissor
- glitter
- fabric cord
- jewelry glue (or any strong glue)
To be honest, glitter was not always one of my favorite materials. The reason was that if the glitter is spread around then it is really difficult to clean it. And then I became a mother and my princess is in love with everything that has glitter on it… from pencils to hair accessories! I had to change my mind and my first attempt to use glitter was with the Pink Glitter on the Tea Candles!
So glitter in a bottle and let’s make our own cute and romantic long necklace. Start by adding glitter in your favorite color in the small bottle. In my necklace I used only pink, but it is up to you to add more than one colors. Then add glue on the cork and close the bottle. If the necklace is long, then there is no need to have a lobster. Just make two simple knots at the edges and the necklace is ready!
Bows are considered really romantic and girly. Make a small one with fabric ribbon and glue it on the bottle. In both cases I have used jewelry glue, but of course you can use any strong glue or even hot glue. The necklace is ready!
It is up to you to decide if you want it simple, like mine, or you can add more color or cute details. For example pom poms, beads, more ribbons, Christmas tiny bells or fabric!
For making the necklace you need less than 10min and no special expertise in jewelry making. A beautiful cute like candies necklace for everyday outfit!
