Sometimes you just want to do…nothing. Sometimes you just to feel again like a kid. The same happened to me the other day when I was enjoying my coffee with my kids next to me playing with their watercolors. And then my hands did the rest… a paint brush appeared there and I just started playing with the colors without any specific plan in my mind! Guess what… it was fun, it was relaxed…and the result was simple gorgeous!
What are we going to need:
– Water Colors
– Paint Brush
– Pom Pom
– Hot Glue
– Popsicle Sticks
This craft is of course something you can do and enjoy with your kids. We did! We started painting the popsicle sticks and then we have decided to create cute bookmarks for our daddy! What to do? just use your imagination and play with the colors!
Nothing specific to do. I have used water (more than usual) to my watercolors and with the paint brush I just “touched” the stick. And then I have done this with another shade. And it turned out so beautiful, like colored waves!
Let it dry and then start decorate them.
We love fluffy pom poms , so we add one in each stick. Just be careful, not allow the kids to use the hot glue. Of course you can add your handmade pom pom , but to be honest at that specific time I wasn’t feeling like creating pom pom.
I have kept the bookmark with the pink pom pom and the rest my kids wrapped them for our daddy. Really, what do you think? Aren’t they easy to make them and a gorgeous gift to offer????
