Hello my friends!!!
I know I have been lost in the space (or should I say in Crete) but to be honest I do not want to spend that much time for blogging instead of enjoying Summer. Anyway, since I had a few friends that they loved my handmade leather sandals, I visited a small village near my town to check a workshop with handmade leather sandals. The village is Lakonia and I have to admit that every single village in Crete hides a surprise!
The workshop was a traditional one and the creations are gorgeous! I hope to have another post about it in the future.The first surprise? this traditional workshop!
And then we had a small walk in the village. In the small square with the mulberry trees.
Beautiful old houses with stone were around reminds us the past,
and a wonderfull stone fount to reminds us the present.
The next surprise? the colors and the flowers in the gardens..the aromas were amazing!
and then these traditional small coffee shop which also serves traditional food with this amazing anf huge mpoukamvília…isn’t the color just amazing???
Greek traditional coffee and a Vanilla “submarine” another great sweat that I adored as a kid!
If you ever be in this village or in any village f Crete I am sure that the people there will treat you a great cup coffee or a cold beer…afterl all this is Greek hospitallity!
