I have to admit that I am not a fan of Easter decoration, compering of course to Christmas one! But this year, due to the really bad weather that does not look like Spring, i was desperately want to add some color and Spring aroma in my home! So Easter was the perfect opportunity and here we are… DIY Colored Decorative Easter Eggs with Flowers!

Materials for Colored Easter Eggs with Flowers for your decor:
- Plastic Eggs
- Acrylic paints (got them from here)
- plastic flowers
- hot glue
- scissor
- ribbon

The craft is really easy and the kids can help you, without having dirty clothes after all! Just choose your favorite shades and use 2 or more colors. For our eggs, we used pink, gold and light green!. Open the egg and add the first shade of the paint. Close the egg and start shaking it.

The color will be applied like in the photo above. Let it dry for a few minutes and then start the same procedure with the second color.

In my case, pink! Open again the plastic egg and add pink color. Close it and start shaking the egg again.

Third time to repeat the procedure with the gold shade. If you want to add more colors, then just repeat the same steps for every additional color. Else, we are done!

If the colors are wet enough, they will mix and match and the result will be beautiful! Our eggs are ready to decorate them. A few things to add or else, if you are minimal, just use them as they are.

I usually do not like plastic flowers, but I found these flowers on a shop and it was love from first sight! They were look like (almost) real, so I purchased a few different flowers in order to use them in my crafts. Our Easter eggs decorated with ribbon scraps and plastic flowers and now we are done!

The kids loved this craft, so we prepared a few more eggs with different colors combination. Cord and hang them on your plants or on the wall. They will add a beautiful sparkle in the room!

So? what do you think? Easy, right? And if you check the colors collection from Smirniopoulos shop, you can discover more amazing shades!
